FAQ: Potions
Currently, they do not.
In the past, there was a brief period of time when Legendary and Alchemy Potions did work with loot chests but that is no longer the case.
Potions are not directly transferrable between different accounts. Potions are meant to help encourage booster sales.
Some players with good reputations have been able to sell the use of their potions by having other players send them boosters to open on their account (using the potions) and then sending the opened cards back. But this requires trust by both parties. Remember that any off market transactions are at your own risk! You can also use a trusted intermediary to reduce your risk.
